Slow Down Time by Treating the Neck & Décolleté

As we go along in our skin care routine, one of the most common misconceptions is that the routine stops at your face.  As we age, it is not only the skin on our face that ages, but the skin on our neck and décolleté area that unfortunately will also show the wear and tear of time.  It is actually one of the first signs of the aging process.

The skin on the neck and décolleté is more thin than the skin on the face, has less sebaceous glands, and a limited supply of melanocytes. This paired with the fact that the décolleté is one of the areas exposed to sunlight the most, means that this delicate area is more prone to sun damage.  Even simple things that cannot be avoided like the pull of gravity, and stress, lead us to sagging and crepey skin. Because of this, the neck and décolleté should not be ignored when doing a skin care routine.  It should definitely not be forgotten when applying to the face, SPF.

So what can you do about this battle against time?  You should start by taking care of the skin on the neck and décolleté just the same as you do on the face.  Treatments that include the neck and décolleté are vital in keeping the skin looking youthful and slowing down the hands of time.  At Sweet Spot MediSpa we have anti-aging treatments that go from the face to the décolleté.

Let us help you slow down the hands of time at Sweet Spot MediSpa with a deluxe facial, that includes taking care of the neck and décolleté area so you can age gracefully.
