It is common to feel a slight burning sensation during the treatment. Fans and cold packs can be applied for the short duration of warmth. After the procedure is complete, the skin will start to peel in 3 to 4 days and continue for a total of 7-10 days post-proceedure day. When the peeling process is complete, your skin will appear clearer with a glow due to a fresh layer of skin exposed. Wearing SPF of 30 or more on your face is essential as well as limiting the amount of exposure to the sun. Peels can be repeated every 15 to 30 days depending on the type of peel and client’s skin type.
